Award-winning boy band Sauti Sol have signed up with an international talent agency. The band will now be part of the Africa Creative Agency. This is one of Africa’s leading talent agencies.
This comes after Sauti Sol recently released a new song. The song, titled ‘Extravaganza‘, features Crystal Asige, NViiri the Storyteller, Bensoul and Kaskazini. It has been well received by fans. Many are saying it has rhumba feel to it and can be enjoyed by listeners across all generations.
According to reports, the agency will provide Sauti Sol with the infrastructure needed to go international. Colin Gayle, CEO and founder of Africa Creative Agency said, “I am extremely proud to add Sauti Sol to our management roster. I connected with the group a few years ago and I have always been a fan of their musical fortitude. I look forward to working closely with them in this new capacity.”
Moriasi Omambia, head of business at Africa Creative Agency, added, “We are looking forward to a great and productive working relationship as the band looks to expand music and business interests throughout Africa and the World.”
Nairobi News reports that Sauti Sol will be joining the likes of Diamond Platnumz, Vanessa Mdee and Rayvanny in the agency.
While on matters Sauti Sol, Bien recently tickled Kenyans by sharing a photo that seemed to show his family jewels. This is just the usual benign public relations stunts. The band was this year nominated for the Kids Choice Awards. They, however, did not manage to win. This kind of nomination did in a sense, amplify their international reach.
They also signed their first artist, Bensoul, on their newly launched Sol Generation Records. They have been making positive strides in the field. We are hopeful that this new deal will bear more fruit.
