Can’t think of great places to hang out this weekend? Worry no more, here are six events you should not miss out on;

1. Nairobi Pizza Week 2019

Nothing slaps like a cold glass of coke and a slice of pizza with the squad. Eat Out’s Nairobi Pizza Week is back! The annual juiciest and tastiest week-long event kicks off today, with a record number of participating restaurants offering incredible deals on pizza and Coca-Cola drinks. 2. Folk Fusion

Folk Fusion is a music concert celebrating African culture where folk meets pop music. Gikuyu Afro-pop sensation, Ayrosh will be the event’s headliner, backed up by Tha Movement band, Urban Mugithi crew, Ambasa Mandela and Heritage Music. Ayrosh had this to say on Folk Fusion, “Folk Fusion is a way of thinking, of being in the future but not forgetting the past”.

3. Spook Fest

Blue Door presents Spook Fest, the club’s very first Halloween party. This event will have two stages packed with musical treats. The first stage dubbed the Hip Hop stage, will showcase Jo Kisila and Imran Mwangi, as the House/Electronic second stage will feature performances from Franki B, LA Dave, and Riz-MSM.

4. Gondwana Pres. Cuebur

Gondwana entertainment presents the African Electronic Music event which celebrates the “world’s best-kept secret”, electronic music. The event, set to be graced by South African club DJ, Cuebur and Zambian electronic producer, Sebastien Dutch promises to deliver an explosion of flavor, beats and color. The duo will also be joined by Kenya’s very own Suraj and Euggy.

5. Reggae in the Sun

Reggae in the sun is a monthly Kenyan reggae festival developed to promote music, culture and artists of the genre. The 10th edition of the event will be happening this Sunday, with performances from Wen Music, Nazizi and Lavosti.

6. Afri-Love Festival

Afri-love is a bi-annual, family-friendly festival that empowers and celebrates creatives to be true to themselves, in creating the businesses and lives they seek. Now in its third edition, the Lulu Kitololo Studio-event features creative workshops, talks and interactive experiences.
