BBC Journalist Larry Madowo is getting more lucrative opportunities. He will be one of the hosts at the Global Mobile Awards (GLOMO) this year. The event takes place in February in Barcelona, Spain.
The BBC Africa Business Editor is not only a global contributing columnist for the Washington Post but he also hosts a show on UK’s Capital Xtra and on Sky 1’s What’s Up TV.
A statement from GLOMO about Larry Madowo reads, “Larry brings a wealth of experience to the team, having reported from more than 40 countries and interviewed some of the world’s most prominent business, political and cultural leaders.”
GLOMO is considered an important platform in the technology scene which recognizes innovations and also allows business pitches geared towards technology.
Larry talked about the opportunity saying, “I’m looking forward to hosting the Oscars of the Mobile Industry in Barcelona next month.”
It is amazing to see Kenyans excelling not only locally but internationally as well. Larry’s profile is definitely rising and we are here for all those wins.
